Hello, and Welcome to our “Childcare Center & Preschool” here in Washougal, Washington. The Riverside Christian Daycare Center & Preschool is dedicated to providing a Christ-Centered early childhood development experience for the young people of this community. It also commits itself to being a Christian example in the community, offering opportunity for a Christ-centered learning experience to all who enroll. The providers are registered with the State and have early childhood knowledge and experienced backgrounds.

We are associated with Riverside Christian School and the Riverside Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church . This is a wonderful opportunity for the community, church and the school. We provide a happy, safe, nurturing and loving Christian environment for all the children at the center.

Goals For The Center

Our daycare is based on the belief that your child's needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. 

 The activities for children vary with for different ages and stages. Matching individual children with the right range of activities is important. Not all children develop at the same rate. We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities.

        Our highly-qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results.
We would welcome the opportunity to work with you and your child to help them develop into lifelong Christians.
We are proud to be providing the Horizons Preschool Curriculum.  This is a Bible based preschool learning skills program which teaches each child the basics they will need to be prepared for Kindergarten and Elementary school.  These lessons can be Activity or Academically based, depending on the maturity of the individual child.  The children are assessed by the teaching staff and place in the program that will give them the greatest success. Each day shifts between Bible, shapes, phonics, math, language arts, crafts, and even homework, bringing a wealth of new and exciting information that will engage young minds. Colorful pages will hold children's interest as they work the large-print problems; the exercises will stretch thinking skills as they complete both creative assignments and factual problems.

Through Biblically-based lessons, preschoolers will be introduced to social studies, language arts, math, phonics, science, health and safety, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. Hours of Operation

Riverside Christian Daycare is open Monday-Friday from 7:00am - 6:00pm. We do not provide nighttime care.
Preschool is open from 8:30am – 12:00noon Monday – Friday (with before and after childcare available upon request)
